My Coast experience

faced pre-Christmas shopping fever and I went to Coast on Oxford Street to get a gift (or two or actually three) for myself. Yes, that is right, a gift (or three for myself) :) Why? Do I need a reason to treat myself with a gift? Or three gifts, in that matter. Oh, come on, it is Coast we are talking about! I love the place way too much not to get myself three Christmas gifts from there ;) Luckily, I was being helped by the lovely Skai, one of the personal shoppers, who happens to also be a fashion blogger herself (www.scentofblanc.com). Maybe not helped, I knew what I wanted, as you, at least I, do. I was being complimented by my choices when I was about to leave. Who does not like to be complimented? Exactly. However, not just a silly 'befriend me, even though I hate you'  complement ;), a genuine compliment that you know is a truth. There you go, a truthful compliment. With New 2015 ahead I wish you to be getting only truthful compliments :)

Positive Thinking Course at Inner Space

'Inner Space is a meditation and personal development centre in Covent Garden, often referred to as ‘London’s oasis of calm and insight.

The energy of human mind is a thought.  To get the very best out of life, all we need to do is rethink our mindset and tweak our outlook.

Understand how your mind really works and learn how to:

  • Regain control over negativity
  • Think positively
  • Develop positive self-awareness
  • Explore principles that sustain positive living
Courses run once a week for 3 weeks.
Another option is to attend a stand alone seminar.'

Positive Thinking course is devided into three classes:

1. Understanding
2. Transformation
3. Sustaining

1. UNDERSTANDING:

A single human creates 60'000 thoughts a day. Your thoughts is who you are. Your thoughts create you. But your thoughts also create your Destiny. Something I discovered myself and ever since I strongly believe in. The Law of Attraction. The SECRET. I speak purely from my experience.

Now, 60'000 thoughts a day, huh? That is a lot, you gotta admit that. Just imagine what a power you got within Yourself and learn how to use it in your advantage.

'Your Mind is a garden, your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow flowers, or you can grow weeds.'

You are the gardener and your thoughts are your garden. Sometimes you grow roses, sometimes you allow weed to grow, and sometimes there are both. However do not forget, that you can fance your garden. Do not allow negativity and negative people to control the way you feel and perceive the World. With Positive Thinking Course, you learn how and why you should be shifting your thoughts from negative to positive.

In this very first session we were thought the SOS technique:

Stand back
Observe
Steer

Homework: use the SOS technique in your Life.

2. TRANSFORMATION:

My state of Mind does not depend on people. I CHOOSE my state of Mind and people respond accordingly.

I am not influenced. I CAN influence.

People should respect me. But I GIVE respect to myself first and that is how I GET respect.

Do not be hung in the Past (feeling hurt). Let it go. But learn from the experience. Do not overthink and plan too much in the Future (fear). Plan but be open. Otherwise, if you expect things to happen in the very exact way you planned them to happen you might get dissappointed. LIVE in the Present.

Q: What if your Past is still connected to your Present?
A: Do not forget that people change, learn and improve. Look how much you have changed from the last week. How hard you learnt and worked on improving yourself. Be positive :)

Homework: write down five positive qualities of yourself every day.

This exercise showed me that if and when I want to, I can be: determined, believe until the end / success, listen carefully, give a wise advice, be a good friend, funny, friendly, strong, nice, helpful, carying, organised, faithful, believing, not afraid to ask for help, positive, hopeful, emphatic, reliable and thinking of others.

Try, just try. Is this already not making you to feel confident and positive about yourself and your capabilities? Exactly :) You CAN do whatever you want to do, you just must believe in it and believe in yourself. The Law Of Attraction.

'The Law of Attraction is the name given to the belief that "like attracts like" and that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, one (YOU) can bring about positive or negative results. This belief is based upon the idea that people and their thoughts are both made from "pure energy", and the belief that like energy attracts like energy.' (Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_attraction_%28New_Thought%29).

That is why it is so IMPORTANT to learn how to shift into positive thinking / thoughts. As what you are afraid of and you give it your thought, even subconsciously, you attract into your Life (!!!).

And that is the whole Secret. Be / stay / shift / learn how to be POSITIVE (!!!!!!!!) I know it is / might be hard. Trust me, I DO know. But I also know what results you get when you are positive and when you are not. I believe you want to attract into your Life all the Good, positive, Love, health, Happiness and success. So, please, please I am begging You, for your own good, be POSITIVE. At least try to be. And learn what makes you feel optimistic. Whatever it is, your favourite music or book that gives you positivity. Have it with you. Always.

'The Secret: is a best-selling 2006 self-help book written by Rhonda Byrne, based on the earlier film of the same name. It is based on the law of attraction and claims that positive thinking can create life-changing results such an increased wealth, health and happiness. The book has sold more than 19 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 46 languages.' (Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Secret_%28book%29).

3. SUSTAINING:

How to maintain Positive State of Mind.

I > Thought > Perception - everything depends on your perception, how you 'choose' to feel / think: positively or negatively > Attitude > Behaviour - Habbits > Personality - Character > DESTINY.

This circle simply demonstrates how YOU create Your Destiny. Whatever you give, you receive. Your EVERY thought matters 100%. Our priorities change with our Life, but "I" stays the same. Your self-awarness increases your potential.

REMEBER:

1. Substitution: SOS (Stand back, Observe, Steer).
2. Relax.
3. Balance : Head and Heart.
4. Attitude towards Myself and my decisions. Respect it.
5. Practise, practise and practise.

Next step: Practical Meditaion- learn how to practise :)

And the most importantly BE HAPPY <3

My experience with Boux Avenue

So I did it. I went lingerie shopping. You do not think it is scary? Well think again. At least it might be for those of us, who were rather hughly gifted by the Mother Nature. As I attended Boux Avenue's Christmas party few months ago and I really liked what I saw, I decided to go to Boux Avene for a lingerie shopping. At first I just thought I would have a little wonder around, just to see if there is anything I like... Just so I would not freak out. Lingerie shopping is usually rather traumatic for me. While I was just having a look, I was approached by a shop assistant asking if I needed any help. I thanked nicely and said that I was just browsing. Truth is, I badly wanted to choose a bra, but... Hey I know nothing about choosing a bra?! A sales assistant saw my confusion and asked me what size I was... Good question.. What size am I? I always thought I was a big B... The girl offered to measure me... Ok, yes, please. Three hours later, I walked out from the shop with a sexy bustier, size D....Through those three hours, I experienced an exceptional customer service. The sale assistant's name was Kavitha. Her knowledge on the subject - priceless. Kavitha, was not only super helpful, she knew better what would look good on me than I did myslef! I tried so many bras, that looked good and also looked good on me that I did not know what to choose...Kavitha had to ask one of her colleagues to help me out. What I was not aware of at the time, that Kavitha stayed with me for over an hour after her shift supposed to finish...and this is what I call an EXCEPTIONAL customer service. In the end I went for Chloe Lace Longline Bra, a little sexy black bustier :) Great experience, I highly reccommend visitng one of Boux Avenue shops, especially if you need an expert's advice. I went to the one in Westfield, Shepherd's Bush, London. If you are confident with your size and know exactly what would look good on you, good news, you can shop online: www.bouxavenue.com There is also free standard delivery on all orders now, hurry up!

With Love,
PAA

POSITIVE THINKING:

I signed myself up for their Positive Thinking course. As somebody with rather optimistic outlook on life, I wanted to learn how to deal with those, at times, negative thoughts that come to my mind, how to regain control over them and how to switch back to positivity.

Positive Thinking course takes place over period of three weeks. You go to the class once a week for an hour. The rest of a week, you practise what you were thought in the class.
Each class starts with 15 minutes guided meditaion. After my very first one, I thought that only three to five minutes passed, I swear. I had never felt so good and relaxed in my life!

I wiill keep you posted on my progress through the three sessions. Stay tuned :)

With Love,
PAA
